Launch of the verslemieuxetre.tv web platform
Supporting more people affected by cancer
From the beginning, the Association du cancer de l’Est du Québec has been a champion for the well-being of people affected by cancer. We continue to innovate to better meet the needs of the Eastern Quebec community.
To reach more people affected by cancer, the Association has partnered with TELUS and PQM.net. The group has pooled their resources, in solidarity for the cause, to create the verslemieuxetre.tv [mettre le lien] broadcast platform, online since September 2017.
The Association du cancer de l’Est du Québec broadcasts valuable live and on-demand content to support people with cancer and their loved ones remotely. People registered on the platform can participate in real time or watch re-runs when, where, and as many times as they wish.
Registration for the activities offered on the verslemieuxetre.tv web platform is quick, easy and free.
Providing at-home well-being activities
The verslemieuxetre.tv web platform is a straightforward and powerful way to bring Eastern Quebeckers affected by cancer together around activities specifically designed for them.
During the group activities offered on verslemieuxetre.tv, participants feel the encouraging atmosphere and receive practical support. During live broadcasts, the participants can ask the presenter questions and get a response in real-time.
A number of Cendrine and Philippe Wellness Centre workshops, as well as various conferences for people affected by cancer, are available on verslemieuxetre.tv. These include yoga, deep breathing, nutrition, fatigue and sleep, young people and the serious illness of a loved one, the role of a caregiver, physical activity with cancer.
